It seems I got lucky and met some of the few Muslims who are genuine in their faith but are also not fanatics bent on world domination. Phew, that was a near thing, I'm lucky I'm not hanging from a lamp post. I'm likely to meet some more Muslims, who aren't just "cultural", so I can't expect my good luck to last much much longer. Thanks to Peter I'll now always carry a silk rope with me at all times so that my end may be a little less painful (but I'm not counting on any mercy).
On a slightly more serious note, Peter has fallen into an extremism that oddly parallels Islamic extremists when he says that only Islamic extremists are true Muslims, the rest "only may have only a loose cultural affiliation with their religion". Al Qaeda would be in furious agreement but it's simply not true. It's amazing and disturbing that I have to say this but there are well over a billion Muslims around the world who are sincere and devout in their belief yet don't feel any impulse to conquer the world. Peter is spouting crude far-right propaganda and I'm intrigued how he got to this point.
