On right wing violence, particularly in the USA, we may have to argue over the definition of miniscule and what people and groups we might include as current or potential threats. For example, is the NRA, which produces outright fascist propaganda, a current or potential terror threat?
What is, I think, undeniable is that the US is in a new stage when it has a president who signals to even explicitly extreme groups that they have his support. Peter could easily find evidence, from respected analysts, that right wing terror, often espousing a 'Christian' ideology, is a much larger current threat than 'Islamic extremism'.
During the coming presidential election campaign we are likely to see widespread intimidation from these groups, some actual terror attacks are also a possibility. Trump is indicating virtually every day that he will not accept the result if he loses. How will right wing extremists avenge their hero? Do you believe he'll go quietly and won't incite them? I don't.
