It's worth pointing out that pacifism is a small minority position in Christianity today and if we look at it throughout the religion's history it has been of vanishingly minimal significance. The vast majority of all Christians have believed in 'just wars' and wars of self-defence. While not so popular today many have also believed that wars to spread the faith were also justified. In all three justifications the similarity with Islam is remarkable.
Peter's claim that Islam "enjoins its followers to act violently and subjugate the world" is not a fair reading of the faith and is, frankly, cheap and bigoted propaganda.
