This is an appalling development. Not even an issue for the federal election. While responsible people stand horrified, cunning politically correct politicians are working in with identity groups to close down discussion. The current obsession with prospective female members of parliament rather than any concern for the actual issues for which a prospective MP may stand is a serious case in point.

I have no doubt that the end game will be criminalising of discussion about race, gender, immigration et al. terribly sad, terribly concerning.
